Regions - Group
‘Regions’ is a selected group show on the first floor of Turner Gallery.
The selected artists work from painting as a conceptual model towards integrated installations, which dissolve the distinctions between image, object and context. ‘Regions’ looks for the poetic in the function of things putting pressure on accepted interpretations of the image and the object towards reflection and cognitive thinking.

“Regions”はターナ−ギャラリ−の１階で展示している選ばれたグル−プである。
選ばれたア−ティストは、イメ−ジと実体と背景の相違を解明する融合されたインスタレ−ションに向けての概念の原型として、ペインティングから作品をつくっている。
“Regions”は、イメ−ジと実体の受け入れられる解釈へのプレッシャ−を反省と認識された考え方に向ける働きの中に詩的なものを探している。

Perpetual Horizon - Video Group

For ‘Perpetual Horizon’ the curatorial rational focuses on video works that are made through performance, that present a performative aspect, or that maintains a strong connection to material investigations and the conceptual use of objects.

Fields – Jesse Hogan & Collaborations

Fields is the solo installation by ‘JH’ working from the notion of the expanded field of painting and sculpture. In this ongoing series ‘JH’ uses painting as a conceptual gesture to question the role and function of image documentation and the formal language of installation. Authorship, context and perception are all under re-evaluation in this questioning attempt to resist ‘Not-painting’.

“Fields"はペインティングと彫刻の広げられたフィ−ルドの概念からつくられた、ＪＨの単独のインスタレ−ションである。
このシリ−ズで、ＪＨは、イメ−ジの活用と正式なインスタレ−ションの役割と働きの疑問への概念的伝達をする為に、ペインティングを用いている。
原作者と背景と認識は、'Not-painting’に抵抗するこの探求的試みの再認識の元にあります。
